since moving west from evanston over to niles, corey and terry from
blessed
promotions seemed to have a winner. a big spot, a big parking lot,
right off of the expressway and a 4am license.

every thursday for the past few months sounds like one blood, swacky and
even live bands have made niles the place to be in chicagoland for dancehall
vibes.

the club itself was beautiful. they even had a vip area set up next to
the bar. there were plenty of tables and chairs and booths ringing the
large dance floor. the ambience was perfect for dancehall with plenty
of black lighting and egyptian inspired tropical murals as well as man sized
hookah pipes being smoked at the bar.

if you missed it, enjoy the pictures-they were taken from the last few weeks
of mad thursdays in march. i'm sure the blessed crew will have
something new coming for the dancehall fraternity shortly... |
