the festival of life this year included many reggae, gospel and r/b acts, but the culmination of the event, at least for the dancehall fans was the king of the dancehall, Beenie Man himself.  On a rainy Monday, the 4th of July and last day of the festival, beenie was set to perform.  his openers included silver cat and devon brown and dub dis band and as the rain was coming down along with the sun and the fireworks were coming up, beenie was coming on, 8pm showtime.  beenie showed the crowd why he is both the king and the doctor by performing a hype 1.5 hour, energy filled set.
